Since Katlyn holds a degree in Biology and Steven a degree in Wildlife Management, it was no surprise to anyone when they decided to be married in the middle of the woods! The involvement of the family provided so many personal touches to make their day unique: Katlyn was a perfect fit for her mother’s wedding dress; Katlyn’s brother/Man of Honor Nick sang during the ceremony and serenaded the couple during their first song and Steven’s sister also lent her voice to the celebration. The day was perfectly captured when Katlyn’s father announced “today my daughter is marrying the man of her dreams and our new son-in-law is the son-in-law of our dreams,” affirming that this was not just a joining together of two people but two loving families…
